The Ewing house, a two-story addition placed to the side of the existing building included the relocation of the entrance to the middle of the house for better functionality, and a new skylight lit central octagonal stair; Interior renovations included a new kitchen, bedrooms and great room. The exterior was designed to blend with the Mediterranean stucco vocabulary of the existing building, and strategically placed to negate the need for a zoning variance.
